This vulnerability is classified under CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal'), where the product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. The "program extension upload" feature in OpenCart through 3.0.2.0 has a six-step process (upload, install, unzip, move, xml, remove) that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code if the remove step is skipped, because the attacker can discover a secret temporary directory name (containing 10 random digits) via a directory traversal attack involving language_info['code'].
