How to Fix GHSA-v3v5-7j3j-cc6f

To remediate this vulnerability, upgrade all affected Duplicate Advisory dependencies to a patched release. Both direct and transitive dependencies should be checked, as frameworks or security libraries may pull in vulnerable versions transitively.

github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel fixed: Latest secure release
Upgrade github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel to Latest secure release
Verify Direct and Transitive Dependencies

Run the following command in your project directory to verify that all resolved dependencies use the patched release:

inspect dependencies for github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel

How to Check if You Are Affected

To determine whether your application is affected by GHSA-v3v5-7j3j-cc6f, inspect your project dependencies for Duplicate Advisory:

inspect dependencies for github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel

Analyze the terminal output to locate any version of Duplicate Advisory in your dependency tree. If any resolved version matches the vulnerable ranges listed in the table below (for example, versions earlier than the patched release), your application is affected.

Note: Verify declared build manifests and deployed runtime container environments.

Technical Details

Vulnerability Mechanism & Technical Analysis

This vulnerability is classified under CWE-862: Missing Authorization, where the product does not perform an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action. In Duplicate Advisory, software state validation or input boundaries are circumvented during processing. Review the official source advisory statement below for specific affected components, classes, and reproduction details.

Source Advisory Statement

## Duplicate Advisory This advisory has been withdrawn because it is a duplicate of GHSA-5w7r-f4cg-rqq7. This link is maintained to preserve external references. ## Original Description SiYuan before v3.7.4 (affected <=v3.7.2) fails to enforce publish-access filters on five filetree path-resolution endpoints (getFullHPathByID, getHPathByID, getPathByID, getIDsByHPath, and getHPathByPath). In publish mode, when Publish.Auth.Enable is false, an unauthenticated (anonymous) reader — or any publish reader token — can call these endpoints to enumerate the complete private document tree, mapping notebook names, folder hierarchies, and document titles, and resolving title paths to document IDs, including for documents marked hidden, password-protected, or publish-forbidden.
