How to Fix CVE-2026-41175

To remediate this vulnerability, upgrade all affected Statamic dependencies to a patched release. Both direct and transitive dependencies should be checked, as frameworks or security libraries may pull in vulnerable versions transitively.

statamic/cms fixed: 5.73.20
Upgrade statamic/cms to 5.73.20
statamic/cms fixed: 6.13.0
Upgrade statamic/cms to 6.13.0
Verify Direct and Transitive Dependencies

Run the following command in your project directory to verify that all resolved dependencies use the patched release:

inspect dependencies for statamic/cms

How to Check if You Are Affected

To determine whether your application is affected by CVE-2026-41175, inspect your project dependencies for Statamic:

inspect dependencies for statamic/cms

Analyze the terminal output to locate any version of Statamic in your dependency tree. If any resolved version matches the vulnerable ranges listed in the table below (for example, versions earlier than 5.73.20), your application is affected.

Note: Verify declared build manifests and deployed runtime container environments.

Technical Details

Vulnerability Mechanism & Technical Analysis

This vulnerability is classified under CWE-470: Use of Externally-Controlled Input to Select Classes or Code ('Unsafe Reflection'), where the product uses external input with reflection to select which classes or code to use, but it does not sufficiently prevent the input from selecting improper classes or code. In Statamic, software state validation or input boundaries are circumvented during processing. Review the official source advisory statement below for specific affected components, classes, and reproduction details.

Source Advisory Statement

### Impact Manipulating query parameters on Control Panel and REST API endpoints, or arguments in GraphQL queries, could result in the loss of content, assets, and user accounts. The Control Panel requires authentication with minimal permissions in order to exploit. e.g. "view entries" permission to delete entries, or "view users" permission to delete users, etc. The REST and GraphQL API exploits do not require any permissions, however neither are enabled by default. In order to be exploited, they would need to be explicitly enabled with no authentication configured, and the specific resources enabled too. Sites that enable the REST or GraphQL API without authentication should treat patching as critical priority. ### Patches This has been fixed in 5.73.20 and 6.13.0.
